It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Has God been good to you? Has He kept watch over you? When times were difficult and uncertain, did God comfort and supply for you? So often in our lives, we lose sight on the Sovereignty of God. We often forget God is always in control. Come what may, God is a present help for you (Psalms 46:1). Friends appear and then disappear, but God remains faithful. Giving up has become a possibility for you. You are tired of fighting and defending yourself. Have you been there? Are you there now?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. I know each day presents different challenges. Someone is always attempting to destroy you. Negativity has attempted to surround you. My friend, through all you are currently experiencing, God has never left you alone (Hebrews 13:5). When times become stressful in your life, you must learn to minister to yourself. You must begin to say to yourself, “He Promised Me!“ The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. He (God) promised me peace in my storm (Philippians 4:7). He promised to supply all of my needs (Philippians 4:19). He promised to heal my body (Isaiah 53:5). He Promised Me!
My brother, my sister, has God promised anything to you? Do you remember the promise? When times become overbearing, you must hold-fast to the promise(s) of God. If everything and everyone fails you, never let go of God’s promise to you. The Bible declares in Romans 4:20-21 - He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Thought to Remember: If God gave the promise, you can rest on it!

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever experienced testing times in your life? No matter how you tried to avoid the situation, you still endured a test? Maybe the test came to test your patience? Your faithfulness? Your stewardship? Your love? So often in our lives, we ask God for many blessings but refuse to take the test. We ask the Lord for patience, but verbally attack every person that upsets us. We ask the Lord for peace, but we go places where chaos resides. We ask for more money, but never pay our tithes. Does this sound like anyone you know? Does this sound like you?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. You must be mindful of your surroundings. You must be careful about what you say or ask for. When challenges arise in our lives, we must not lose our faith. When people speak negatively about you, do not run into a corner. It’s Part Of The Test! Your character is being tested. Your love for the Lord is being tested. The Bible declares in Genesis 22:1 - And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt (test) Abraham, … Many times we ask the Lord for many things, but before the Lord will grant your request, you must be tested. How can God trust you with more money, if you give Him less now? How can God enlarge your territory, if you never launch out into the deep? The Bible declares in Luke 12:48 - … For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
My brother, my sister, It’s Part Of The Test! You asked for it. When you said, “Lord, I surrender all”, the test began. So often we tell the Lord that we surrender, but when God goes after certain things in our lives, we try to hold on. We partially surrender. We surrender the part that we do not need any longer. We refuse to give up everything. The Bible declares in 1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. It’s Part Of The Test! The test is to make sure you are sincere. The test is to make sure your love for God has not diminished. God loves you. He desires to bless you. He promised to supply your every need, but He will not allow any person, place or thing to receive His glory. Thought to Remember: If you give your best, you will always pass the test.
Scripture Reading for the Day: Matthew 25:21

It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever met someone who appeared ashamed to express his/her love for the Lord? Behind closed doors this person would testify about the goodness of the Lord, but when the doors were open this same person acted as if they did not know the Lord Jesus. This person represents a group of people I call, “the closed door Christians.” They know the Word of God. They know church protocol. They know the different hymns and praise songs. They know the traditions of church. However, they also know how to withhold their praise so they can maintain their image. If this is you, shame on you! If God has ever done anything for you, hiding that praise or withholding that testimony is wrong. Do you not realize there are many people in need of your testimony? Do you not know God brought you out so you can help someone else make it through?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. The Bible declares in Revelation 12:11 - And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. My friend, God Brought You Out So Others Can As Well! Please tell me you did not think God brought you out just for you to have bragging rights? Please tell me you did not think this was all about you? NOT!!! God always has a perfect plan in mind for whatever He does. For example, when the Lord blesses you, He blesses you so you can go and bless someone else. Blessings are sent to us, so they can go through us for someone else. There’s always someone, somewhere in need of what the Lord has birth in and through you. He brought you out of your storm, so others could see and know it was the Lord.
My brother, my sister, believe me when I tell you, there is someone [you know]enduring tests right now. It could possibly be a family member, a close friend, a co-worker, a church member or even someone you do not know personally. It makes no difference who the person is, what matters is the same thing you went through they are now going through. So, why did God bring you out first? Beloved, God Brought You Out So Others Can As Well! He brought you out so you could run and tell what the Lord has done. [run tell dat] The Bible declares in Luke 19:40 - And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Today, what are you withholding from others? What testimony are you withholding from others? Why are you preventing someone else from seeing and experiencing the delivering power of God. Someone needs to know what God can do for them.
